Grain Free Porridge
I came across this porridge recipe a few weeks ago, I have tried other so called grain free porridges and not been overly impressed, this one however is very good, and reheats well too.
1 tablespoon almonds
1 tablespoon macadamias
1 tablespoon of brazil nuts
1 apple -grated
1 date – cut up
1 tablespoon of flaxseed meal
1 cup of a2 milk or coconut milk
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon of coconut oil
Grind up the nuts until coarse, set aside.
Gently cook the date and apple in about 50mL of water for a few minutes.
Add all other ingredients and cook for a few minutes and serve.
